As a minimum, we suggest that a rider should have a heart rate monitor. Preferably, they would also have a direct drive trainer and a reliable and consistant power meter. Ultimately, your bespoke training plan will be provided within the constraints of what you have available but, the more information we can collect, the more personalised and accurate the plan will be.
